The Elektra Patrol doesn't accept new-joiner applications, but Lightning Star's was too good to ignore. She'd dreamed of becoming a superhero ever since before she was a baby. She taught herself how to levitate and created her own powers despite having none by nature. She made sure she was seen in action by senior members of the Elektra Patrol, and, in the end, it worked.
