The defeat of the Fury Dojo sent many of its adherents into hiding alongside Yaoguai Wangzhou. Including Mortal Ming. Since Ming was better at being sneaky than he was at fighting, he had no idea what to do except to cling to his master for protection.

But while in hiding, Ming’s anger grew into a powerful, gnawing thing. Defeat didn’t need to be a permanent state of being—instead of hiding in the shadows, the Fury Dojo should be trying to strike from their cover! Determined to return his faction to its rightful place, Ming decided to launch a propaganda campaign throughout Petra.

With Yaoguai Wangzhou’s blessing, Mortal Ming started a series of whispers that the Fury Dojo was about to rise back to its former dark glory. The rumors twisted and grew as they spread, leading to wild speculation and misinformation running rampant. And while Petra was ensnared in Mortal Ming’s web of lies, Wangzhou had plenty of time to start planning his triumphant return.
