Zparks takes his role as a member of Elektra Patrol VERY seriously. Annoyingly so, in fact. That’s because Zparks thinks that what every superhero needs is a tight, memorable catchphrase, and he’s constantly workshopping new options.

Sure, it’s kind of impressive the first time a superhero dramatically declares something like, “By Apollo’s sky-spanning chariot!” If you’re an onlooker, you’ll probably find it appropriately dramatic. Maybe you’ll even want to buy some official Zparks merchandise with the quote on it…or, at least, that’s the idea. But if you’re another member of Elektra Patrol, and you’ve been listening to Zparks practice delivering his “witty” sayings into the mirror every day for the past month, you might not find it quite so charming. 

Zparks hasn’t gained many fans from this behavior, least of all among his coworkers, and it doesn’t seem very likely that he’ll come up with something worth printing on a t-shirt anytime soon. But even Pyrolektrica’s threats to throw a car at Zparks’ head aren’t enough to derail this determined superhero’s quest to find the perfect catchphrase—which is, ironically, exactly the kind of perseverance that the people of Elektra need.
