Owlinia was always a bit of a bookworm. As a youngster, she spent hours reading through old scrolls and history books in her mother’s library. She wasn’t interested in fiction, only true tales about real monsters who changed the world.

One day, Owlinia opened a book at random and beheld a magnificent full-color illustration of Griffania Ironwings. The drawing, plus Griffania’s story, made such an impression on Owlinia that she devoted herself then and there to the study of Ancestor lore. 

When Owlinia grew up, she joined the Magic Council as a historical researcher. However, it wasn’t long before gossip about her skills reached King Daeron II’s ears. He reached out to Owlinia with the offer of her dreams: To act as liaison between the Light Kingdom and the Magic Council, but also…to represent Griffania herself in such matters!

And so, Owlinia got a promotion, to regularly meet her hero, and the career of a lifetime…all because she read more than other young monsters. Sometimes being a nerd pays off.
