After a tough battle, Zordquill was trying to fly back home to the Righteous Court, but his wounds were too deep and, exhausted, he fell from the sky and landed on top of a tree in the swampy region of the Cardinal Forest. He lost consciousness for days and, when he woke up, it was as if the tree on which he had fallen had nursed him back to health. He was covered in bark, carefully tailored and placed over his chest, almost as if embraced by it.

He felt renewed and grateful, and with the rest of the monsters in the swamp contributing to his recovery by nourishing and helping him in his first steps after waking up, he vowed to remain faithful to Wicked Gaia for the rest of his life. His quill-sword is at her service!
