Varupapu's crew thought they’d netted a corpse when they hauled a half-dead crab out of the shallows. His shell was cracked, his eyes dull, his pincers limp. But they recognized him as a pirate, as one of their own, so they decided to keep him on board and nurse him back to health. When the saltwater barrels revived him, the pirates learned that his name was Crabsair—corsair, mage, and a seasoned navigator.
They were initially wary in case he happened to be a rival. However, they found a protector in him: his spells warded their sails, and his charts turned storm into safe passage. The crew marveled at their luck.
As for Crabsair, he plans to stay with Varupapu's crew. What he'll never admit is that it's not out of gratefulness but because they make the best clam chowder he's ever tried.
Crabsair is a Water and Metal Support monster with random Damage Boosts, Evasion, and Stamina control skills.
