The Tables Knight likes a seat at the table, literally and figuratively. Above all, he wants his opinions to be heard and taken seriously. So when Dame Batoriova dismissed his warning that hosting a Congress of Evil in Monstelvania was a terrible idea, he packed his things and left for the Light Kingdom. Surely, he thought, his knightly talents would be better appreciated there. And indeed they were: he was warmly welcomed and granted a seat at King Daeron’s own table.

He’s settled comfortably into his new home, though many still eye him warily. It’s hard for monsters to overlook the fact that he’s a vampire. But there’s no need for concern: The Tables Knight keeps his vampiric impulses well under control. Well… most of the time. Every now and then, he vanishes from the Light Kingdom for a few days and returns with a strangely radiant complexion and blood glistening on his fangs. No one asks questions.
