Frank Einstein was Dr. Viktor's university professor. His studies on portals is one of the reasons why nowadays it is so easy to travel between Space, Elektra, and Petra.

Young Dr. Viktor felt admiration towards him. He even named his first creation, Frank S. Tein, after the professor. So imagine Dr. Viktor's surprise when, after so many years, Frank Einstein walked into his Lab asking for a favor.

He knew Dr. Viktor had access to rank-up resources and asked if he could give him a power boost. Dr. Viktor gulped. He couldn't say no to THE Frank Einstein. He told the professor to get into one of the pods, but his nerves made him clumsy and he pressed the "Extract" and "Rank-Up" buttons at the same time. The result was terrible: Frank Einstein came out stronger, but in pieces! Dr. Viktor sewed him back together, but he was now very different from the brilliant professor he was before.

Terrified of being caught as the monster who'd killed Frank Einstein’s brilliance and ruining his own reputation, Dr. Viktor abandoned the professor somewhere his new monstrosity would be appreciated: Monstelvania. He never told anyone what he'd done.
