Owu Wu hatched from a strange wooden egg in a very tall tree. Wootr sprouted up from that same tree bough at the exact moment Owu Wu hatched, so they call themselves twins. They don’t look anything alike (or act alike) but they’re completely devoted to each other. In fact, when Wootr was chosen to join Robur Oldenshield’s service, Owu Wu demanded to go with him.

Even though no one thought the sly, irreverent Owu Wu would make a good follower, they proved them all wrong. Because Wootr was so dedicated to Robur, Owu Wu became just as hardcore, making them an excellent ally both on and off the battlefield. And it turned out that their jokes and pranks, while not exactly appropriate for someone in service to an Ancestor, were exactly what Wootr needed most after a hard day of battle.
