Many monsters feel moved to pity at the sight of Lloronion. The tears streaming from his many eyes are enough to soften the hardest heart, and his pitiful cries could make even Barbatos Rex feel sorrow. 

But while kindness is a virtue, it can also be a mistake. Once these good souls get closer to Lloronion, intending to comfort him, they’ve already fallen into his trap. Those heavy tears are pure noxious acid—one good sniff, and even the biggest monster is paralyzed. The toxins spread through their body quickly until the monster’s entire body is completely immobilized…except for the eyes. The eyes stay open, unblinking, as Lloronion’s mouth opens wide and he begins his silent meal.
