UV Fusion, VoltaiK Redeemed, and the rest of the Elektra Patrol were rounded up and kidnapped in a joint operation by the Syndicate and the Revenge Squadron, mere moments after President Canine began his rule at the dawn of the Misery Era. With every member of the Alliance of Evil wielding Eklypsis, the Elektra Patrol was hopelessly outmatched. There was no chance to fight back.

In a bitter twist of irony, they were imprisoned in their own secondary headquarters: Jestin Justice’s Orbital Mausoleum. It became both their gloomy home and their prison for the months that followed, suspended in space, agonizingly close to Elektra, yet impossibly far from their mother planet. The choice of location was deliberate. President Canine wanted the Citizens of Monstown to know exactly where their heroes were, so they would believe the Elektra Patrol had abandoned them when they were needed most.

The mausoleum was guarded day and night—though “day and night” lost all meaning in the emptiness of space. Time blurred almost immediately, but after what felt like only a handful of days, UV Fusion realized she was pregnant.

Panic kicked in. They were prisoners, cut off from doctors, tests, or medication. Worse still, UV Fusion and VoltaiK feared their child would be born captive. They knew all too well the precedent: children taken from their parents and handed over to the Revenge Squadron, where they'd be trained to grow up as supervillains. The thought alone was unbearable.

All they could do was wait, trapped in uncertainty. They didn’t know how far along the pregnancy was, only that UV Fusion’s strength was fading and her belly was growing larger by the day. The moment they dreaded was drawing dangerously close.

Then, like a miracle, rescue came just in time. The Star Sailors (unlikely heroes sent by the Space Defenders) freed them from the mausoleum and guided them to a secluded stellar cave. It was far from the ideal place to welcome a monster, but it was safe. They were finally free. For the first time in weeks, UV Fusion felt calm, ready to bring into the world a monster she instinctively knew would matter not just to her family and friends, but to the entire Universe of Monster Legends.

And so it happened. UV Fusion went into labor inside the stellar cave. True to the chaos of the Misery Era, even this moment came with setbacks. As soon as the baby was born, they were forced to rush back toward Elektra.

You could say V-Kid was born in a hurry, on the run, in the middle of a conflict. And honestly? That suits him perfectly. Like his mother and father, V-Kid is fast, fearless, and overflowing with energy.
