Akira Karioka never meant to found a faction. In fact, it's debatable whether he founded Fury Dojo at all or if he simply inspired Yaoguai Wangzhou to tear through the Eastern Regions at any cost. What Akira did, he did alone and for himself. But let's start from the beginning.
Akira was an adopted child, taken in after losing everything in a terrible war. Some might say he was lucky despite the tragedy—his adoptive family was the wealthiest in the Eastern Regions, his parents loved him, and his brother always looked out for him. Yet, Akira could never shake the feeling that he was a stranger. He lived among their wealth, enjoyed it every day, and yet never truly felt like he could claim it as his own. He envied his brother and despised his father. He loved his mother, but when she died, home became unbearable.
He wanted them both gone, but they were inescapable. His father, an esteemed economic administrator, wielded too much influence to disappear. His brother had no interest in wealth, traveling from town to town, offering protection, aid, and spiritual guidance to those in need. They were both adored. Akira hated that, too. So, he devised the most twisted plan he could imagine to claim everything for himself—kill his father and pin the crime on his brother.
The first part, sadly, he got away with. But when it came to framing his brother, his impatience led to a fatal mistake. He hadn’t checked his brother’s whereabouts before committing the murder. And his brother... was with too many witnesses. When the truth unraveled, Akira’s lies collapsed, and in a fit of rage, he confessed.
His brother, heartbroken, refused to execute him. Instead, he banished Akira, severing the last bond between them.
Exiled, Akira vanished into a dark forest, embracing solitude. When Wangzhou first sought his help in conquering the Dojo, he refused. But years later, Wangzhou returned—with a name. A name that reignited Akira’s fury: The one who had cast him out.
Perhaps it was time to settle the score.
