Joanter is the scion of a thousand-acre bean farm on the outskirts of the Cardinal Forest. The ultimate family monster, Joanter is deeply devoted to his wife and child, as well as tending to the rolling farmlands his family has been growing beans on for centuries. For a long time, Joanter lived a happy and fulfilling, albeit simple, life. But he always had one secret dream: to become Petra’s greatest artist.

One day, while Joanter was plowing, he came across a bean plant that looked a little different from the others. It sparkled like diamonds, and the beans themselves looked like precious gems. A dazzling discovery!

Joanter was not only delighted by the value of these magic beans he’d found, he was inspired. He rushed home and dug out his dusty paintbox, quickly rendering the bejeweled facets of each magic bean on their sparkling stems. Aventurine, emerald, malachite…he was lost in a dizzying world of green and glitter, focused only on recreating the beautiful plant.

But, when Joanter went out the next day to harvest the magic beans, he found the whole plant had been stolen! All that was left were a set of witchy-looking footprints leading off into the forest.

With the blessing of his family, Joanter grabbed his trusty goose-powered blunderbuss from its hiding place and set off after whoever had stolen his magic beans. But just in case inspiration struck during this adventure, he also packed a sketchbook and plenty of pencils.

Joanter Beanhunter is a Fire and Thunder Attacker with the Mountain Hater trait, and Shield Block and Damage Increase skills.
