With latest version update and all the exciting changes in World Chef many of you have asked for some explanations about all the changes, particularly about Common and Gourmet Recipe Cards and Blueprints for crafting Decorations. So, let's explain a few things for you.
Common Recipe Cards
The main way to get Common Recipe Cards (Yellow) is the Basic Crates, they are delivered every 6 hours, and will give you many Common Recipe Cards.
The number of Recipe Cards you receive in the Crates will increase with your restaurant's Star level
0 Star : 10 cards, 1 Star : 15 cards, 2 Stars : 22 cards etc.
There are other ways to get Common Recipe Cards. Remember that you will need to upgrade your Common Dishes to be able to serve your VIPs.
Every 24 hours the Merchants will have special offers for Common Recipes Cards that you can purchase with Gold.
If you really want to boost your dish levels, you can also use your Gems and buy Deluxe or Super Deluxe Crates. Theses Crates are full of Common Recipes Cards and the number of Recipe Cards increases according to your restaurant's Star level.
Deluxe Crates - Star 0 : 30, 1 Star : 45, 2 Star : 65 etc.
Super Deluxe Crates - 0 Star : 70, 1 Star : 105, 2 Star : 152 etc.
Gourmet Recipe Cards
The main way to get Gourmet Recipe Cards (Purple) is by serving your VIP clients. Once your VIP has eaten and they leave the restaurant, they will give you much more Gold than your regular clients, and you will also receive a Special Crate that includes many Gourmet Recipes Cards. The number of Recipe Cards you receive increases according to the VIP.
1 star VIP (example: Teenage Actress) you will receive 5 Gourmet Recipe Cards
2 stars VIP (example: Soccer Player) you will receive 10 Gourmet Recipe Cards
3 stars VIP (example: Famous Artist) you will receive 15 Gourmet Recipe Cards

Blueprints
There are 2 kinds of Blueprints.
Blueprints to craft a Decoration that is a requirement to have in your restaurant so that a VIP can be invited.
Blueprints to craft a Decoration that has been given as an exclusive reward from a VIP that has visited your restaurant.
For decorations that are requirements from VIPs :
The main way to get Blueprints is by completing Chillout Events. The number of Blueprints you will receive increases according to the Chillout Event difficulty.
The kind of Blueprints you receive is linked to your restaurant’s Star level. If you are a 3 Star restaurant and you still have not invited all the 3 Star VIPs, then you will have a huge possibility to receive the required Blueprints for 3 Star VIPs.
Other ways to get collect Blueprints are
The Merchants. Every 24 hours the Merchants will have special offers for Blueprints that you can purchase with Gold.
