Very few pigeons are given the honor of joining the Celestial Paradise, but Taubel is no ordinary bird. His ancestors dwelled in the dovecotes of kings and queens, devouring birdseed from only the finest of garden paths and nesting on the heads of only the most artistically significant statues. Eventually, however, his forebears were pushed into the cities, where they led a far less luxurious lifestyle.

Knowing that he was heir to a noble legacy, Taubel devoted himself to protecting other pigeons and keeping their community safe, making him a hero to urban birds of all kinds. A living legend, he was known both for his mercy and for his hair-raising battle coo, which struck fear in the hearts of his enemies.

The legions of the Celestial Paradise, who had been watching Taubel’s heroic actions, eventually elevated him to join their ranks. Now Taubel flies higher than any other pigeon ever has, and he gets to defeat enemies that threaten all of monsterkind!
