Despite his laid-back appearance, Gremmie’s actually a pretty good fighter. It’s just that he prefers the salty crash of the ocean waves to the sounds of weapons clashing against each other. In fact, Elektra Patrol offered him a job years ago, but he turned it down in favor of having more time to surf.

But since Gremmie doesn’t seem very threatening, and because he appears to mind his own business, lots of monsters end up having fairly private conversations right in front of him. Of course, Gremmie pretends not to listen, but sometime he can’t help overhear things. Interesting things. Sometimes interesting, Syndicate-related things that he can just casually pass on to his friends in Elektra Patrol later. It’s driving the big bosses crazy trying to figure out who’s leaking information, but they’d never guess the bird with the words isn’t a stool pigeon.
