Classic Duels are Live Duels, where you can battle in real-time against other players. Unlike other game modes, you do not use your own monsters to battle but can select a monster from a random pool of 3 monsters to be on your team. Although the monsters come with preset skills and runes, they can be swapped once you select your team.
You can enter Live Duels by spending 2 Classic Tokens (earned by completing Daily Goals) or 10 gems. You need to compete in 3 matches, but are knocked out after losing 2.

- Classic Duels are available every day of the week.
- The monsters' levels are 100 and the runes are level 5.
- The pool of monsters includes monsters from the Doomed Era to the Blossom Era.
