Status Effects are modifications to a unit’s behavior that are applied by some skills and last for a short time. They may deal damage, stop a unit from attacking, or heal a unit.  There are lots of different status effects in Top Troops: See what each does here!

Poison

  • A poisoned unit receives 1% of the base damage of their attacker every second. This effect can be stacked.

Burn

  • A burned unit receives 5% of the base damage of their attacker every second, and their defense stat will be lowered by 25% during the duration of the burn.

Electrocute

  • An electrocuted unit receives 2% of the base damage of their attacker every second, and 5% of the attacker’s base damage will be added as extra damage to every attack the electrocuted unit receives during the duration of the electrocution.

Freeze

  • A freezed unit will have their movement and attack speed reduced to 0 for the duration of the effect.

Stun

  • A stunned unit will have their movement and attack speed reduced to 0 for the duration of the effect.

Rage

  • An enraged unit will have their movement and attack speed increased by 25%. Their damage will also increase by 15% for the duration of the effect.

Regeneration

  • Units benefitting from Regeneration will have their health restored by 5% of the max health of the unit that applied the effect every second.

Invisibility

  • Invisible units can’t be targeted by enemies for the duration of the effect. They will not be invulnerable, however. If they are caught inside an area of attack or are affected by a damaging status effect, this will still go through as usual.

Bitten

  • Bitten units have a 1% higher chance of receiving critical hits. This effect can be stacked.

Instadeath

  • This effect immediately kills the entity it targets unless they are immune to it.

Injury

  • Injured units will have their maximum health reduced by 1% of their attacker’s damage for the duration of the effect.
