Lionell lives in the city, top floor of a walk-up that smells faintly of espresso and ambition. His mane? Dyed pink. His shorts? Tiny. His strut? Legendary. He works part-time at a juice bar, full-time being fabulous. During Pride, he goes extra: glitter, fans, and a float shaped like a disco ball. Some monsters whisper: “Is that... allowed?” Lionel winks: “I’m not asking!”.

But Proud Lionell doesn’t just show up; he organizes. He chairs Monstown's Pride committee, coordinates volunteers, and keeps the glitter budget mysteriously high. The rest of the year, he spends his evenings mentoring closeted monsters, helping them find safe spaces, words, and sometimes just someone to listen. “Not everyone’s born loud,” he says, “but everyone deserves to be heard.”
