Grokmax was a comrade of Voytek’s for many years, but the two monsters never really got along. Voytek didn’t think Grokmax took the business of war and death seriously enough, while Grokmax thought Voytek was an overly aggressive, pompous jackass. The rivalry came to a boil one day, and Grokmax actually pulled out his gun and aimed it at Voytek, but his courage failed him at the last second.

He hesitated for just one second, which was all the time Voytek needed to simply reach forward and grab the gun from his hand. But Voytek being Voytek, he just took Grokmax’s whole arm along with it.

Luckily for Grokmax, this ended up being a bonus! He commissioned a much stronger replacement limb, complete with a wicked spiked morningstar instead of a hand. One thing’s for sure now: He’s got a much higher chance of actually being able to get revenge on Voytek.
